Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Londonderry, NH is seeking an Engineering Technician to join the Equipment team. The role focuses on maintaining and improving electro-optical-mechanical test equipment across basic to automated systems, while building preventive maintenance procedures and documenting procedures for reliability.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent with extensive relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree with related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 8+ years in maintenance of electro-optical-mechanical equipment or an Associate’s degree with 4+ years related experience.
• Experience maintaining electro-optical-mechanical equipment and using computerized maintenance management systems.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications; electronics background beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Work autonomously on assignments requiring judgment and initiative.
• Perform preventive and corrective equipment maintenance.
• Maintain equipment records in a computerized maintenance management system.
• Develop preventive maintenance procedures and troubleshooting guides.
• Maintain replacement parts lists and inventories.
• Set up preventive maintenance schedules.
• Identify primary failure modes and perform predictive measures and deterioration inspections.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide information and reach agreement.
