QuikTrip Corp. in Norcross, GA is seeking an Equipment Technician to maintain and repair a wide range of store equipment including refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, restrooms, fuel pumps, and roller grills.

The role requires hands-on skills in carpentry, low voltage electrical work, plumbing, and HVAC-R repairs, along with strong trouble-shooting abilities and the capacity to prioritize daily work orders.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of refrigeration school or completion of an Apprenticeship Program.
• Mechanical aptitude including knowledge of HVAC-R systems, electronic equipment, carpentry, painting, and plumbing.
• Minimum of 2 years of refrigeration systems experience, including service and repair, with EPA Type II or Universal certification.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair general equipment.
• Ability to efficiently route and prioritize work orders daily.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• The hours for this position may vary according to projects and deadlines and could include overnights, holidays, and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.

As an Equipment Technician, you will be tasked with maintaining and repairing a diverse range of equipment in our stores, such as refrigeration units, commercial kitchen equipment, restrooms, fuel pumps, and roller grills. Each day will bring a diverse array of tasks, from carpentry and low voltage electrical work to plumbing and specialized HVAC-R repairs. Position Requirements
