Express Employment Professionals-Rochester Hills is seeking an Equipment Technician for our client in Troy, Michigan. This long-term evaluation hire role requires a mechanical candidate with warehouse or manufacturing experience and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot gear, and assist with disassembly/repair and testing of rental equipment. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Mechanically inclined, with troubleshooting skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble and test various types of electrical, hand-operated, and pneumatic rental equipment.
• Prepare each job in accordance with a job order or verbal/written instruction.
• Perform inspection of completed product in accordance with company quality standards.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles.

Express Employment Professionals-Rochester Hills has partnered with a leading provider of lifting solutions to fulfill their need for an Equipment Technician at their Troy, Michigan location. This is a long-term, evaluation hire opportunity for an individual that is mechanically inclined and eager to learn new things.

Equipment Technician Requirements & Responsibilities

• Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience required
• Forklift experience preferred
• Mechanically inclined, with troubleshooting skills

• Able to pull/push and lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License & clean driving record
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen

Equipment Technician will be trained in the following areas

• Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble and test various types of electrical, hand-operated, and pneumatic rental equipment
• Prepare each job in accordance with a job order or verbal/written instruction

• Load and unload delivery vehicles

Shift – Monday thru Friday

8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Pay

$21.50 per hour
