Job summary

CS Power Systems in Texas is seeking a maintenance technician to perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, and ensure compliance with safety and plant policies. The role requires hands-on PLC/HMI experience and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience with troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience repairing manufacturing and plant equipment.
• Hands-on PLC/HMI, machine control and industrial robotics.
• Ability to interpret machine schematics, electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Available to work 12-hour shifts (day or night).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all production and facility equipment as directed.
• Troubleshoot and repair all manufacturing plant equipment.
• Repair and maintain all electrical and mechanical equipment in plant.
• Follow all maintenance procedures to ensure proper preventative and corrective maintenance practices.
• Ensure compliance with all internal and external plant policies and procedures.
• Ensure safety of all personnel in the Maintenance group meets company standards of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations and those within Company Policy
• Adhere to all environmental, health and safety rules and policies.
• Conduct other duties as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have Manufacturing experience with troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
• Must have experience repairing manufacturing equipment and plant equipment.
• Hands-on experience with PLC/HMI, machine control and industrial robotics
• Ability to interpret machine schematic, electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Good knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
