Job summary

New Jersey Respiratory is seeking an equipment technician to set up rooms and deliver BiPAP/CPAP, tracheostomy care, and oxygen supplies, ensuring patients receive what they need to recover.

You will handle paperwork for deliveries, maintain the company vehicle, stock returned equipment, and participate in on-call rotations, collaborating with nurses and administration as needed.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Strong communication skills to converse with patients, nursing, and administration.
• Prior professional driving experience.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment & supply setups for BiPAP/CPAP, tracheostomy care, and oxygen.

NJRA relies on equipment technicians to facilitate a seamless clinical experience for our patients. Whether we are setting up rooms toprepare for admissions, providing education, or performing preventative maintenance, our technicians play a vital role in providing patients what they need to recover.

Duties:

• Perform equipment & supply setups, specifically for individuals requiring BiPAP/CPAP, tracheostomy care, and supplemental oxygen
• Safely handle and deliver equipment for needed set ups
• Complete necessary paperwork for deliveries and returns
• Professionally represent the company in communicating accordingly with nurses and patients as needed
• Maintain company vehicle in clean and orderly manner per company standards
• Follow company process to clean and stock all returned purchased/rental equipment/supplies
• Support yearend inventory audit
• Participate in the weekly and weekend on-call rotations
• Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

• Possess a valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Strong communication skills that let you converse comfortably with patients, nursing, and administration.
• Prior professional driving experience
• Basic computer skills

Would like to see:

• Prior experience in the medical equipment set up atmosphere
• Microsoft Office experience

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to drive long distances for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
