Job summary

Qcells North America in Cartersville, GA is seeking motivated Equipment Technicians to support our solar manufacturing facility. In this role, you will maintain and troubleshoot production equipment used to manufacture ingots, wafers, cells, and modules.

Technicians play a key role in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently while supporting production teams and continuous improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with mechanical or electrical experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, or industrial equipment maintenance.
• Ability to use hand tools and basic diagnostic equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical training or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechanical, or electrical fields
• Experience in manufacturing, automation, or industrial environments
• Familiarity with PLC systems, robotics, or automated equipment
• Cleanroom or high-precision manufacturing experience
• Bilingual (Spanish or Korean) is a plus

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Manufacturing facility with automated equipment and machinery
• Required use of PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe footwear
• Shift work may include nights, weekends, and holidays depending on production needs
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
