SGMC Health is seeking an Equipment Technician at the Main Campus in the Equipment Services department. The role involves cleaning, preparing and inventorying reusable medical equipment used to deliver care, and maintaining storage with routine cleaning and expiration checks.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, with six months’ prior experience in storeroom, central supply, sterilization, or Pyxis operations, and a good knowledge of medical/surgical supplies.

Full Time, , 1 day shift and 1 night shift
Equipment Technicians work with reusable medical equipment (RME) used to deliver care. Equipment Technicians are responsible for cleaning, preparing and inventory of equipment. Equipment Technicians maintain and store reusable medical equipment while Performs regular/routine cleaning and expiration date checks.
High School Diploma or GED preferred; six (6) months prior experience preferred in storeroom, central supply, sterilization and cart exchange, or Pyxis Supply Station operations. Good overall knowledge of medical/surgical supplies and usage.
