Located in Blacksburg, Virginia, we are the Pet Care unit of Spectrum Brands. Starting Pay: $22.95/hour (plus $2.00 shift differential for 2nd shift)
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 5pm to 3:30am. Possible overtime on Fridays and Saturdays. Attendance bonuses and discounts on products!

The Set-Up Tech must be mechanically inclined with some mechanical experience. Responsibilities include operating Salt Room production machines, troubleshooting issues, performing changeovers, and conducting preventative maintenance. The role involves monitoring machines for safety, efficiency, and quality, improving line uptime, and collaborating on equipment improvements. The tech will lead or assist with special projects and trials, and must handle stress well, maintaining a calm demeanor during troubleshooting and adjustments.
Repetitive movements required. Must be able to lift 65 pounds with or without assistance, work in confined spaces, at elevated levels, and stand for extended periods. Availability across multiple shifts is necessary. All prescribed PPE must be worn, including hearing protection, safety glasses, respirator, and steel-toed shoes. Working conditions are typical for a manufacturing environment.
