Job summary

VPNE Parking Solutions LLC is seeking an Entry Level Equipment Services Tech to clean, maintain, and service assigned areas in hospital facilities, under supervisor guidance. The role operates during night hours, Mon-Fri, 10:30pm–7am, in a hospital setting in Boston.

You will operate electrical and battery-powered equipment, handle medical equipment cleaning, and coordinate with frontline staff to manage orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• The ability to add and subtract numbers and make comparisons between numbers and letters.
• Respond appropriately to instructions, questions, or requests for information.
• The ability to be courteous when occasionally making contact with patients and visitors.

Physical Demands

Work requires lifting and carrying patients/children/objects weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting and moving patients/children/objects weighing 11 to 20 pounds.

Work requires regular stooping and bending.

The job requires reaching and grasping objects below the shoulder level and frequently reaching and grasping objects at the shoulder level.

Work occasionally requires reaching and grasping objects above shoulder level.

Work requires continually pushing and pulling non-motorized equipment (e.g., stretcher, food cart, mop.) potentially weighing over 50 Ibs

Work requires regular grasping and fine manipulation with the hands.
