Job Description: Equipment Service Technician at Krispy Kreme

Since its founding over 80 years ago, Krispy Kreme's focus has remained the same - making fresh, premium quality doughnuts inspired by their founder's original recipe. The brand's iconic Hot Light lets guests know when doughnuts are being made fresh in shop so they can enjoy hot doughnuts fresh off the line. Many shops feature the brand's unique doughnut theatre, providing an immersive experience where guests can see doughnuts being made.

Role Overview: Equipment Service Technicians are responsible for maintaining the proper operation of Krispy Kreme equipment across a region. This includes installing, servicing, repairing equipment, and advising on preventative maintenance and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with installing, servicing, or repairing equipment on-site.
  • Provide technical support and maintenance guidance to shop staff.
  • Respond to emergency repair requests.
  • Work independently under guidance, acting as a liaison between departments and shop personnel.
  • Handle on-call support, including support calls during and after business hours.
  • Travel extensively domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Work in the Equipment shop as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to travel up to 90%, including internationally.
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams and engineering drawings.
  • Strong communication, reading, and math skills.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • 2-5 years of maintenance or troubleshooting experience.
  • Clean driving record and ability to travel by air internationally.
  • PLC experience, preferably with Siemens.
