Job summary

Pearlman Group in North Little Rock, AR is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and repair low-voltage electrical components in portable cleaning equipment and pressure pumps. You will read wiring diagrams and work safely within a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include regular diagnostics, component replacements, testing mechanisms, inspecting parts, and creating work orders with parts lists, timelines and cost estimates. Prior experience with small engines is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• General knowledge of hand and power tools (company provides).
• Able to read and comprehend manuals, procedures and written documents.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills.
• Experience with small engine repair a plus; HVAC repair a plus.
• Must-pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Two years of similar experience required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair equipment regularly.
• Replace electrical or mechanical components using hand or power tools.
• Operate machines to test the functioning of parts or mechanisms.
• Disassemble equipment to inspect parts and functionality.
• Identify stock of replacement parts using a database.
• Create work orders with required parts, timelines and estimated costs.
