Starting at $26.00 per hour DOE, on-site work with room for growth. Candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of equipment maintenance, refrigeration, electrical troubleshooting, or field service.

Harrington Bottling Company, a family-owned beverage distributor proudly serving Montana communities for more than 80 years, is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Equipment Service Technician to join our team in Bozeman. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in equipment maintenance, mechanical repair, appliance service, refrigeration systems, electrical troubleshooting, or field service operations who are looking for a stable, long-term career.

Equipment Service Technician

As an Equipment Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of beverage dispensing equipment at customer locations throughout the region. Equipment may include beverage coolers, vending machines, fountain drink systems, and other commercial beverage equipment. Your work will play a critical role in ensuring customers receive reliable service and that equipment remains safe, functional, and operating at peak performance.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, solving mechanical challenges, and providing outstanding customer service. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment issues, performing preventative maintenance, completing installations, documenting service activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all work is completed according to company and safety standards. The role also requires operating a company vehicle, performing routine vehicle inspections, and occasionally assisting with equipment setup and support for customer events and promotions.

The successful candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, effective problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. Experience working as a maintenance technician, field service technician, equipment repair technician, refrigeration technician, appliance repair technician is highly valued. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and have basic computer skills for work orders and service documentation. Refrigeration certification training is available for qualified employees interested in expanding their technical skill set.

Work schedules may include a traditional Monday through Friday daytime shift or an alternative four-day workweek, depending on operational needs.
