ManpowerGroup is seeking an Equipment Service Associate for a client in Virginia Beach, VA. The role supports service operations, repairs and maintenance of outdoor power equipment, and customer interactions at the front counter.

The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, familiarity with small engines and tools, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a focus on safety and quality service.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in small engines and outdoor power equipment.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and work order management.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 60 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain small engines and outdoor power equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Support front-counter customer service, handle phone inquiries, and assist with equipment operations.
• Assist with assembly, staging, and safe movement of equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues, provide repair estimates, and perform routine maintenance.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to load, unload, and transport items safely.

Our client, a leading provider in outdoor power equipment and repair services, is seeking a dedicated Equipment Service Associate to join their team. As an Equipment Service Associate, you will be an integral part of the service department supporting customer satisfaction and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Equipment Service Associate

Location: Virginia Beach, VA

Pay Range: $18.00 per hour

Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks
