Job summary

Clark-Reliance in Strongsville, OH is seeking an Equipment Repair Technician to prepare, test, troubleshoot and package inbound and outbound rental units. You will clean, test and assemble components, assist in field requirements and perform quality checks.

Three+ years of manufacturing experience and a basic understanding of pumps, motors and valves are preferred. Travel to client sites and strict adherence to safety procedures are required.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of related manufacturing experience preferred.
• One-year mechanical experience with pumps, motors, valves, and fluid dynamics is preferred.
• One-year experience within the Oil, Fuel, Fluid Power Industries preferred.
• Basic understanding of mechanical concepts and usage.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
• Ability to use a wide variety of power and hand tools.
• Able and willing to drive company van and truck (non-CDL) to client sites and, if needed, vendor locations (for Clark-Reliance).
• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Ability to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in Standard English required.

Responsibilities

• Document and track materials and inventory.
• Visually inspect returned products for damages.
• Use power washer for cleaning units.
• Assemble and hydro test products in qualified area.
• Inspect, test and evaluate parts for quality.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Use tools and testing instruments to troubleshoot and repair.
• May track inventory and prepare documentation.
• Assist with material handling and shipping/receiving as needed.
• Travel to client sites for on-site service and support.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
