Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Elgin, IL seeks an Equipment Repair Specialist to perform repairs and maintenance on parts washers at internal and external sites. You’ll diagnose issues, repair worn components, and keep detailed service logs.

This role requires manual labor, the ability to travel 1-2 nights per week, a valid driver's license, and strong organizational skills. We offer competitive hourly pay, benefits after 30 days, and opportunities for growth.

Safety-Kleen in Elgin, IL is seeking an Equipment Repair Specialist to join their team! This position will be responsible for completing repairs and maintenance of parts washers at our internal and external sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
• Repair broken, damaged, or worn equipment at Safety-Kleen and client locations
• Maintain logs of repairs, breakage rates, customer relationships, equipment characteristics and trends
• Swap and setup replacement equipment.
• Maintain inventories, tools, and other equipment
