Continental in Livonia is seeking an Equipment & Repair Service Technician. You will transport, install when needed, and maintain vending, micro market, and office coffee equipment across accounts, ensuring reliable operation.

You will troubleshoot faults, perform repairs, replace parts, and communicate with dispatchers and clients to meet service levels. A valid driver's license and ability to pass a DOT physical are required.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience repairing vending, coffee, or small machines.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT physical.

Aufgaben

• Repair and install vending, office coffee, and micro market equipment to promote continuous operation of the machines.
• Transport equipment, install replacement parts, and perform repairs using tools and other vending equipment at various accounts/locations throughout the region using a company vehicle.
• Troubleshoot to restore malfunctioning machine to working order in the field.
• May include swapping failed equipment, cleaning, preventative maintenance, and minor adjusting of the malfunctioning component of the machine.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers and clients.
• Will run electrical wire and plumbing tubes as needed.
• Responds promptly to customer needs/requests with the goal of ensuring customer satisfaction.

The Experience You’ll Create

The Equipment & Repair Service Technician will be responsible for transport, installation (if applicable), and maintaining equipment, replacement parts, tools, and micro market and office coffee equipment in an organized and structured manner. The Field Service Technician is responsible for in field rebuilding of vending, micro market, and office coffee equipment.

• Responsible for repairing and installing vending, office coffee, and micro market equipment to promote continuous operation of the machines.
• Transports equipment, installs replacement parts, and performs repairs using tools and other vending equipment at various accounts/locations throughout the region using a company vehicle.
• Troubleshoot to restore malfunctioning machine to working order in the field.
• May include swapping failed equipment, cleaning, preventative maintenance, and minor adjusting of the malfunctioning component of the machine.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers and clients.
• Will run electrical wire and plumbing tubes as needed.

Location(s) & Logistics:

• Ability to lift 75–100 pounds.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, climbing, crouching, bending, kneeling, and twisting.
• Comfortable working and driving in various environments and weather conditions.
