Job summary

Raytheon Vision Systems in Goleta, CA, seeks a 2nd shift Semiconductor Equipment Repair and Maintenance Engineer to support at our Lompoc site as needed (Mon–Fri 12:00pm–10:00pm). This role performs hands-on diagnostics and repairs on photolithography equipment in a clean room, with EHS compliance and cross-functional collaboration.

Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and 2+ years of relevant experience; familiarity with equipment repair and maintenance is preferred.

Raytheon Vision Systems is looking for a 2nd shift Semiconductor Equipment Repair and Maintenance Engineer in Goleta, CA, while providing support at our Lompoc site as needed (Monday - Friday 12:00pm - 10:00pm).

What You Will Do

• Communicate technical documentation effectively both written and verbally.
• Read Engineering schematics and technical drawings.
• Identifying failures using basic electronic test equipment and common hand/power tools.
• Work in a clean room environment, capable of lifting 28lbs.
• Adherence to environmental health and safety programs including electrical safety, gas safety, hazardous materials, material handling, and wearing personal protective equipment.
• Perform hands on system diagnostics, repair and maintenance on Semiconductor Photo Lithography Equipment, Steppers, Aligners, Metrology Spectrophotometers, and electro-mechanical devices.
• Collaborate with cross functional groups communicating equipment status Provide Engineering Solutions and recommendations on process equipment failures.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Equipment Repair and/or Maintenance experience.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with installation of Capital Manufacturing Equipment and Special Test equipment.
• Experience with electro / mechanical devices.
• Good interpersonal skill, be dependable and be able to follow through on multiple concurrent assignments.
• Experience in the maintenance troubleshooting and repair of semiconductor processing equipment.
• Technical Military Training / Experience.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.

The salary range for this role is 75,800 USD - 144,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
