Clemens Food Group in Michigan is hiring an Autonomous Maintenance Technician to support production equipment reliability. You will proactively identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, prevent recurring problems, and collaborate with Maintenance Technicians and production leadership to improve equipment performance.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, independent problem-solving, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting industrial production equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Root-cause analysis and long-term solutions.
• Understanding of production operations and setup/changeovers.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills including Outlook.
• Experience with SAP or similar CMMS for maintenance documentation.

Responsabilités

• Propose solutions to recurring equipment issues.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on shift.
• Oversee operations in the assigned area.
• Assist in repairing equipment, fixtures, conveyors, and supporting systems.
• Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment per SOPs and safety standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance safely and efficiently.
• Work independently and with the team to complete repairs.
• Lead/setup equipment during start-ups and changeovers.
• Ensure compliance with plant safety rules including LOTO and safe lifting.
• Use SAP for work orders and preventive maintenance documentation.
