Job summary

Polar Semiconductor in Bloomington, MN is seeking a PM Rebuild Technician to rebuild components and perform preventive maintenance (PM) on production equipment following documented procedures. You will work with Maintenance and Equipment Engineers to improve rebuild processes and monitor PM schedules.

Key qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years in mechanical assembly or quality control, and familiarity with MS Office and test/calibration tools (DMMs).

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
1–2 years in mechanical assembly or quality control.
Knowledge of test and calibration equipment (DMMs).
PC skills and familiarity with MS Office.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain and rebuild equipment components following document procedures and checklists.
Document rebuild activities in Equipment Management System.
Monitor PM schedules to ensure rebuilds are ready and staged for PM activities.
Communicate rebuild status with Maintenance Services Manager and Engineers.
