Job summary

DRP Truck & Equipment in New Philadelphia, OH is seeking a dependable Yard & Rental Readiness Technician to keep our rental equipment ready for customers and maintain an organized yard at our New Philadelphia location.

The role involves inspecting returned equipment, detailing units to near-new condition, helping customers with pickups and returns, and supporting general property and facility upkeep. Outdoor work and independent initiative are important for success.

Qualifications

Valid driver7s license with clean driving record.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Experience with outdoor equipment and basic maintenance.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather.
Professional interaction with customers.

Responsibilities

Perform check-in/check-out inspections and ensure units are rental-ready.
Inspect equipment for damage, leaks or missing items and report concerns.
Clean and detail equipment to near-new condition before placing back in fleet.
Assist customers with pickup/return, loading/unloading and basic orientation.
Keep yard organized with designated equipment areas and tidy appearance.
Assist with local delivery and pickup of smaller equipment; operate company trucks and trailers.
Maintain facility cleanliness and grounds including mowing, weed control and weed-eating.
