Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking an Equipment / Quarry Operator to support production and maintenance at our North American sites. The role requires adherence to safety policies and teamwork with quarry staff to keep operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate may have basic mining experience, basic math and reading skills, and some welding/mechanical abilities. Willingness to work overtime and weekends is essential.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This position directly reports to the various quarry supervisors. All duties are performed in a work-safemanner; plant safety rules are followed and individual works as a team member. Primary responsibilitiesinclude assisting in production functions and maintenance.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Ensures a safe work environment for self and others at all times.
• Understand and comply with Environmental Health & Safety policies to assure that environmental, healthand safety are the first priority
• Actively support key safety initiatives at the facility and assist as needed to improve EHS
• Communicates effectively and timely with staff
• Ensure all work areas are clean, tidy and organized at all times.
• Trains and coaches other employees when needed
• Performs other duties as time permits or as assigned Results/Accountabilities:
• nternal controls providing reasonable assurance of effective and efficient operations, including actions toprevent and detect fraud and protect Company resources
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures
• Unwarranted deviations from established standards, and violations of policy or law
• Ability to work independently, self-starter, yet able to participate within a team environment
• Ability to operate equipment effectively
• Must understand equipment functions and processes of the primary areas
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Additional Requirements

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
