Position Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on, mechanically-minded Equipment Prototyper/Fabricator to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a workshop environment and is excited by the challenge of building, modifying, and prototyping equipment used in advanced concrete production and finishing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate custom tools, jigs, and production fixtures for TAKTL's manufacturing processes
• Assist with prototyping new machinery and modifying existing equipment
• Work from sketches, CAD drawings, and verbal instructions to build functional prototypes
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to solve equipment challenges
• Perform light machining, welding, and mechanical assembly
• Maintain a safe, organized, and well-equipped workspace

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with metal fabrication, welding, and mechanical assembly
• Familiarity with hand tools, shop equipment, and machine shop safety
• CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar)
• CNC experience a strong plus (setup, basic programming, or operation)
• Ability to troubleshoot and creatively solve mechanical problems
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
