Job Description

Position Overview: The Equipment & Process Technician I works with the Inspection and Packaging Supervisor to ensure the inspection and packaging of sterile pharmaceuticals are performed in accordance with company procedures and cGMPs. The role involves manual inspection, setup and operation of automated inspection/packaging equipment, maintaining accurate records, and supporting quality assurance activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and packaging activities as per established procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and training documentation.
• Set up manual inspection processes with minimal assistance.
• Assist in inspection reconciliation and review batch records.
• Support quality assurance and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace and report unsafe conditions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; some college or technical training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in inspection, packaging, or quality control preferred.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
• Strong mathematical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to wear PPE and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Additional Information

Work is on-site in New Albany, OH. Must be able to work overtime as needed and adhere to safety protocols, including wearing protective gear. Vision requirements include 20/20 near vision (correctable) and color vision.
