Job summary

United Rentals in Colorado Springs seeks an Equipment Associate to support trench safety branch operations. You will help prepare customer orders, assemble and load equipment, and ensure gear is safe and ready for rental.

This role emphasizes teamwork, safety compliance, and precise procedures to maintain service quality. Requirements include a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to frequently lift up to 45 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating medium to large forklifts preferred.
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of trench safety equipment is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, load and unload equipment, assist with deliveries and prepare equipment for rental.
• Perform routine checks on rental equipment to ensure it is safe and in good working order.
• Verify delivery tickets and returns for accuracy.
• Greet customers and assist with customer inquiries about equipment.
• Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customer needs.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
