Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate to support trench safety operations and customer orders at our branch. You will assemble, load, unload, and prepare equipment for rental while ensuring safety and quality in every step.

Responsibilities include checks of equipment, processing delivery tickets, greeting customers, and recommending gear to meet needs. This team-focused role offers growth into our Driver development program and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Experience operating medium to large forklifts preferred.
• Knowledge of trench safety equipment is a plus.
• Some computer/phone app knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, load and unload equipment and assist deliveries.
• Perform routine checks on rental equipment for safety.
• Verify delivery tickets and returns for accuracy.
• Greet customers and address inquiries about equipment.
• Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customer needs.
• Other duties as needed.
