Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate to support service technicians, sales staff and branch personnel across our operations. You will perform manual tasks to help meet customer needs and contribute to a smooth branch operation.

This role offers advancement opportunities into Driver and Service Technician development programs and emphasizes safety and teamwork in daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Ability to safely handle and move equipment and materials.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level upon return to the branch.
• Inspect rental equipment for safety decals and proper working order.
• Clean equipment and maintain a clean work area.
• Load, unload and prepare equipment for rental.
• Checkout and demonstrate equipment for customers and drive a delivery truck.
• Perform other duties as needed.
