Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Associate to support branch operations by performing manual tasks and providing labor assistance to service technicians, sales staff and other branch personnel.

You will help ensure equipment is ready for rental, checked for damage and safe to use, and assist with loading, unloading and demonstrations for customers. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork and exceptional customer service, with opportunities for advancement into development programs for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Effective communication and teamwork essential.
• Must be able to lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level upon return to the branch.
• Inspect rental equipment for safety decals and ensure it is in good working order.
• Clean equipment and maintain a clean work area.
• Load and unload rental equipment and prepare equipment for rental.
• Checkout and demonstrate equipment for customers and drive a delivery truck to pick up/drop off equipment.
• Perform other duties as needed.
