Job summary

Teasdale Latin Foods in Hoopeston, IL is seeking Equipment Operators for the 2nd shift to safely and efficiently operate manufacturing equipment. You will set up, run, monitor, and maintain equipment, ensuring quality output in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of equipment operations.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

• Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects when necessary.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate designated machinery and equipment within the manufacturing plant according to SOPs.
• Set up equipment, make adjustments, and perform minor maintenance tasks.
• Monitor equipment during operation to ensure proper functioning and quality output.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Conduct visual inspections of equipment to identify issues or defects.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials onto machines.
• Meet production quotas and quality standards consistently.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.

EQUIPMENT OPERATORS 2ND SHIFT - HOOPESTON, IL

Levels = I, II, and III are available

Hourly pay rate - I = $19.35 - $19.70, II = $21.25 - $21.60, and III = $25.20 -$25.55.

Training: 12-hour training shifts run Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 7 pm and 7 pm to 7 am until the 8-hour shift is implemented, at which time the 8-hour shifts you listed will apply.

OVERVIEW:

As a Manufacturing Equipment Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations by safely and efficiently operating various equipment and machinery.
