Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator with a Class B CDL and Air Brake endorsement to join our Wisconsin crews. This full-time, non-exempt position operates and services equipment, trims and clears brush, and maintains safe work practices.

Willingness to join the local union and pay dues is required. Pre-employment drug screen, background check, and MVR may be performed. Competitive hourly pay varies by location.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.
• Driver License Required.
• CDL Class B or Higher with Air Brake Endorsement is required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, assigns, directs, checks, and coordinates work.
• Operates and services equipment such as power saws, chippers, sprayers, and other tools.
• Cleans up and disposes of debris.
• Ensures safety, quality and production requirements of the crew.
• Obtains access from property owners and coordinates with customers or owners.
• Trains new personnel and maintains equipment knowledge.
