THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:

As an Equipment Operator at Ulta Beauty, you will ensure the safe transport of products throughout the distribution center, making it a model of productivity, efficiency, and reliability for the entire company. Machinery includes standup forklifts, order selectors, reach trucks, powered pallet jacks, and dock stockers, primarily operated via RF scanners.

You will accomplish this by:

• Operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) with certification
• Performing daily safety checks on equipment
• Following all safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment
• Reporting equipment issues or safety hazards to your supervisor
• Accurately picking, packing, and restocking orders
• Sorting, counting, and receiving merchandise
• Moving products with material handling equipment
• Building pallets for shipment using conveyors
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Organizing storage space efficiently
• Adhering to safety, quality, and production standards
• Using scanners for work directions
• Handling, reaching, and perceiving visually during tasks
• Safely lifting items up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Performing physical activities such as lifting, bending, standing, walking, and climbing stairs during shifts
• Working overtime as needed
• Following instructions accurately and working effectively in a team
• Communicating clearly and interpreting written and oral instructions
• Performing additional warehouse tasks as assigned

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

Qualified candidates are self-motivated, dependable, 18+, capable of completing training and certification, with solid math skills, a high school diploma or GED, and 1+ years of related experience preferred. Knowledge of RF scanners and basic computer skills are advantageous.

Essential functions include exposure to loud noises, high places, variable temperatures, dusty environments, and potential scents. Work may involve narrow aisles or trailers.
