Job summary

Muller, Inc. in Manassas, VA is seeking a hands-on Excavation Technician to dig trenches for water, sewer, and storm systems, install trench boxes, and operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.

You’ll follow Muller's safety policies and OSHA procedures, perform daily inspections, train teammates, and help maintain quality control and production in a fast-paced worksite environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to access secured facilities.
• Operate large excavators with precision.
• High attention to detail.
• Physically fit to perform manual labor in varying environments.

Responsibilities

• Excavate trenches for water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer.
• Install trench boxes as necessary.
• Operate equipment per Muller's safety policies and OSHA procedures.
• Ensure proper excavation and compaction procedures.
• Perform daily inspections and grease equipment at required intervals.
• Demonstrate knowledge of underground utilities.
• Train team members in a hands-on manner.
• Manage quality control and production.
