Job summary

Capital Quarries Inc. is seeking a loader operator for a travel plant, covering Laurie Quarry, Bagnell Quarry and Linn Creek MO Quarry. You will safely operate heavy equipment and help move aggregate materials to support multiple sites.

The position is full-time with benefits. Candidates must be willing to travel, work outdoors in all weather, and pass pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background checks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the safe operation of heavy equipment and recordkeeping.
• Operate construction equipment.
• Perform maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, skid steers, front-end loaders, haul trucks, crushing equipment and/or other large machinery.
• Move, load, and handle materials with the use of heavy equipment.
• Lift, haul, push, roll, load, and move aggregate-related material with heavy equipment.
• Perform general maintenance on equipment including welding, cutting, and fabrication.
