Associated Terminals is seeking an Equipment Operator Trainee to join our team in Davant, LA. The role involves operating and maintaining equipment, moving cargo to ship and barge holds, and working in a dynamic marine environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial setting preferred.
• TWIC Card is required to work in maritime facilities.
• Ability to safely operate assigned equipment.
• Must be physically fit to perform all essential job duties and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment such as Track hoe, front-end loader, bobcat, and similar gear.
• Transport cargo to ship/barge holds, deck and dock areas while coordinating with other equipment and personnel.
• Perform pre-job inspections and routine maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Act as signal person for other equipment and crane operators.
• Complete daily inspection reports and forward to maintenance as needed.
• Support safety initiatives and comply with all company policies.
