Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling is seeking an Equipment Operator in Calhoun, GA. The role involves learning various jobs within the tire recycling facility, with emphasis on safe operation and material handling. Forklift and loader duties are included, with training provided where needed.

The position requires adherence to safety standards and the ability to lift significant weights as part of daily tasks. This is a regular full-time opportunity at our production site.

Qualifications

• Must meet safety requirements and be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Prior experience in tire recycling or manufacturing is a plus.
• Forklift/ loader equipment experience is beneficial; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety requirements.
• Assist with maintenance and repairs of equipment.
• Loading of feed hoppers.
• Moving finished product.
• Stage and load product for shipments.
• Daily housekeeping responsibilities.
• Maintain great housekeeping in production area and yard.
• Keep equipment clean and orderly following safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by production supervisor.
