Job Description

Leadpoint Business Services is currently seeking an Equipment Operator (Skidsteer) in Chester, VA. This is a permanent position responsible for operating powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials, deliveries, and transport them to and from storage areas, loading docks, trucks, or storage facilities.

Benefits of the Equipment Operator (Skidsteer)

This full-time role offers reliable weekly pay ($19.00/hour plus overtime and benefits), including health insurance and paid time off. Overtime and incentive pay may also be available. Opportunities for career progression are provided.

Responsibilities
  • Operate during PM shift
  • Load and unload goods from vehicles
  • Stack goods in designated storage areas
  • Ensure loads are secure
  • Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging batteries and lubricating machinery
  • Remove attachments and waste materials from machines
  • Inspect products for quality standards
  • Dump materials into hoppers
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Attention to safety to prevent injuries and promote a safe work environment
  • Ability to follow operating instructions and maintain records
  • Clean driving record; valid state driver's license may be required
  • Forklift certification per OSHA standards
  • Physical ability to sit, lift (up to 100 pounds), bend, stoop, stand, walk, and work in varying temperatures
  • Ability to judge weights, distances, and heights
