Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, hours from 12pm until finish.

Role Summary

An Equipment Operator is responsible for daily distribution activities, productivity, and quality within designated areas of a distribution facility. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and operational expertise, with proficiency in at least one distribution activity (e.g., order filling, shipping, receiving), with 60% or more work performed using a forklift or PIT.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Perform loading, unloading, and/or picking of products using powered lifting equipment such as stock picker, sit-down/stand-up equipment, reach truck, etc.
2. Maintain a safe work environment through housekeeping and safety practices.
3. Uphold the company’s core values.
4. Communicate effectively with supervisors, leads, and team members regarding tasks.
5. Contribute ideas for continuous improvement of the distribution process.
6. Work in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to lift 70 pounds regularly, up to 150 pounds infrequently.
• Ability to push, pull, grasp, and manipulate equipment throughout work hours.
• Completion of Office Depot Forklift Operator licensing program preferred.
• Experience with Warehouse Systems is a plus.
• Flexible schedule, good performance, self-directed, and teamwork skills.
