Job Description - Equipment Operator - Rockbreaker - Roving Crew (2500018C)

What You’ll Do:
  1. Promote Safety: Prioritize safety in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards, actively ensuring safety for yourself and others at all times.
  2. Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate off-highway equipment to transport raw materials and finished products efficiently within the facility.
  3. Inspect Equipment: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and complete relevant documentation accurately.
  4. Maintain Equipment: Check vehicle fluid levels, add fluids as necessary, and assist with minor maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  5. Monitor Operations: Observe plant processes and surroundings, reporting any issues requiring maintenance or adjustments to uphold safety standards.
Skills You’ll Need:
  • Experience: Previous experience operating heavy construction equipment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Best Practices: Understanding of operating and servicing heavy construction equipment is preferred.
  • Flexibility: Willing to work overtime, extended hours, outdoors in all weather conditions, and tolerate loud noises.
