Job description

Equipment Operator, Print & Auto Inspection

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Equipment Operator, Print & Auto Inspection. This role involves working in a dynamic environment to ensure the quality and accuracy of clinical labels through automated inspection and printing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate automated and non-automated inkjet printing equipment following client specifications and SOPs.
  • Set up and monitor production runs using proprietary software (CLPS), ensuring compliance with cGMP standards.
  • Read and interpret technical documents and proofs to manufacture labels accurately.
  • Maintain documentation and adhere to safety and quality standards.
  • Cross-train on multiple equipment to ensure operational flexibility.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing, operations, or a related field.
  • Preferred experience in a cGMP environment.
  • Proficiency in computer operations, MS Excel, and Outlook.
  • Mechanical aptitude, ability to read measurements, troubleshoot, and handle materials.
Physical & Environmental Conditions:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, reach, bend, and work with chemicals in a warehouse setting. Use of PPE is required.

Work Schedule:

Second Shift (2pm-10:30pm), with shift differential and potential for overtime.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Hourly pay: $24.00–$25.00, with additional shift differentials.
