About the Role

Interlaken, Inc. is a growing site and utility excavation contractor, certified WBE. We are seeking experienced, safety-focused, career-minded PREVAILING WAGE Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team.

• Location: Full Time, Portland Metro Area
• Pay Rate: Depends on Experience
• Benefits: Health, Retirement, PTO, Employee Rewards
• Non-Union Contractor
• Valid Driver's License Required

Qualifications

• 2+ Years experience in Underground Construction
• Ability to check grade
• Proficient with excavators, backhoes, and other heavy machinery
• Proficient with small tools
• High School Diploma or higher
• Self-motivated and safety-minded
• OSHA 10, Flagger Card, CPR (preferred but not required)

Job Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance of machines and vehicles
• Checking grade and using pipe/grade laser
• Manual labor such as shoveling when necessary
• Completing paperwork as required
• Promoting a safe workplace environment
