Job summary

Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials in Sever, KS is seeking an Equipment Operator to support daily plant production and equipment operation at our Sever plant. You will assist with general plant tasks while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting areas, performing basic maintenance and screen changes, completing welding/fabrication tasks as needed, and quickly identifying hazards or equipment issues to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating equipment (loader, haul truck, water truck, skid steer)
• General mechanical knowledge
• Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in support of daily plant production
• Inspect plant areas and perform basic maintenance, repairs, and screen changes
• Complete welding and fabrication tasks as needed
• Identify safety hazards or equipment issues and respond appropriately
