Summary

This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient diagnosis, adjustment, and repair of plant equipment including stone crushers, screens, conveyors, etc. You will operate various equipment, such as off-road heavy-duty trucks, water trucks, quarry trucks, and stock trucks. Opportunities for growth include training in other areas of the aggregate production facility.

Compensation and Company Benefits

• $23.00-$27.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Dismantle and reassemble heavy plant components using hoists and hand tools.
• Repair and replace damaged or worn parts.
• Follow safety regulations and procedures.
• Operate and inspect machinery to diagnose defects.
• Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper performance.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and malfunctions.
• Wear PPE in designated areas as per OSHA and MSHA guidelines.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures for product transit and delivery.
• Load and move materials using trucks, crawlers, cranes, shovels, graders, etc.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• Maintain a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Physical Requirements

The role requires operating heavy trucks for extended periods, crawling, kneeling, bending, reaching, climbing ladders, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. Accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
