Job summary

Energy Job Shop in Glendive, MT is hiring Pipeline Construction & Equipment Operators to safely perform construction, maintenance, and operations across pipeline facilities. You will operate heavy equipment and travel frequently for assignments, with a strong emphasis on safety and mechanical aptitude.

Base pay is $41.81–$43.32/hour with a comprehensive benefits package and paid on-the-job training. Expect frequent overnight travel as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience operating and transporting heavy equipment for pipeline construction.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Class A CDL with air brakes (tanker endorsement for Lead Operator).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and good interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Subject to pre-employment background and drug testing.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass DOT operator qualification and respirator certification if required.

Pipeline Construction & Equipment Operators - $43.32/hr - Benefits Package - Glendive, MT

This company is seeking Pipeline Construction & Equipment Operators to safely perform construction, maintenance, and operations activities for pipeline, compressor, production, gathering, and storage facilities. The ideal candidates will have experience operating heavy equipment and working with natural gas pipelines. Successful applicants will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, and the ability to travel frequently for work assignments.

What You’ll Need

• Two years of experience operating and transporting heavy equipment (back-hoes, dozers, cranes, etc.) for pipeline construction


• Valid motor vehicle driver’s license


• Ability to obtain and maintain a Class A CDL with air brakes (and tanker endorsement for Lead Operator)


• Strong mechanical aptitude and interpersonal skills


• Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations
  
• Subject to pre-employment background and drug testing


• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States


• Ability to pass DOT operator qualification and respirator certification if required

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Three years’ experience as a Journeyman Pipeline Operator (Lead Operator)


• Five years’ experience in heavy equipment operation for in-service utilities (Lead Operator)


• OEM approved training for in-service equipment


• Qualified to excavate around pressurized gas pipelines and other in-service utilities
