Job summary

PURIS Corporation, LLC seeks an Equipment Operator for Underground Wet Utilities in Sunrise, FL. The role involves operating excavators, backhoes, and support equipment for pipe bursting projects, with duties across digging pits, aligning equipment, and ensuring site safety on a full-time basis.

Candidates should have 3+ years in heavy equipment operation, experience near underground utilities, and CDL preference. OSHA 10/30 and related certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 3+ years heavy equipment operation.
• Experience in underground utility construction preferred.
• Experience working around trenching or excavation.
• CDL license; restrictions are OK.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain construction equipment including excavators and backhoes.
• Dig launch and receiving pits and assist with trench work.
• Set up pipe bursting equipment and support replacement pipe installation.
• Load/unload pipe and materials; assist with backfill and restoration.
• Maintain site safety and report equipment issues.
