Job Title: PACE Operator

Salary: $20-$30 Hour Base Pay

Purpose

The PACE Operator is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment used in heavy construction projects.

Job Responsibilities

1. Operate heavy machinery including wheel loaders, excavators, dozers, and other equipment.
2. Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing of equipment.
3. Maintain roads by cutting, sloping, and grading shoulders and roadbeds.
4. Compact road areas and perform related construction and maintenance tasks.
5. Assist with flood control operations, including clearing mud and rocks from channels.
6. Support solid waste disposal activities, such as filling and packing to establish grade.
7. Supervise and direct maintenance staff when necessary.
8. Follow all safety guidelines and perform duties responsibly.

Education and Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment such as wheel loaders, excavators, backhoes, or dozers.

Skills and Specifications

• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment with skill and safety awareness.
• Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and follow schedules.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand, walk, and perform strenuous labor under adverse conditions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
