Job summary

Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our Oxford, KS plant. You will operate equipment, perform general plant tasks, inspect areas, and complete welding/fabrication as needed.

We're looking for at least 1 year of equipment operation experience, solid mechanical knowledge, and strong communication skills. We offer hands-on training, opportunities for advancement, and a team-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience operating equipment (loader, haul truck, water truck, skid steer).
• General mechanical knowledge.
• Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in support of daily plant production.
• Inspect plant areas and perform basic maintenance, repairs, and screen changes.
• Complete welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
• Identify safety hazards or equipment issues and respond appropriately.
