The Impact You Can Have

As an Equipment Operator at Ulta Beauty, you will ensure the safe transport of products throughout the distribution center, making it a model of productivity, efficiency, and reliability for the entire company. Machinery includes standup forklifts, order selectors, reach trucks, powered pallet jacks, and dock stockers, primarily operated via RF scanners.

Your Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) and obtain certification on equipment
• Perform daily safety checks on equipment
• Follow all safety guidelines, including hazard recognition, housekeeping, accident reporting, and proper safety equipment use
• Report faulty equipment or safety hazards to supervisors
• Accurately pick, pack, and process orders
• Restock picking bins and organize warehouse storage effectively
• Handle merchandise safely, including moving products with equipment and building pallets for shipment
• Load and unload trucks safely
• Use scanners for directing work tasks
• Lift and move boxes or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and climbing stairs during shifts, including overtime as needed
• Work in a team environment and communicate effectively

Qualifications for Success

Qualified candidates are self-motivated, dependable, and 18+ years old, capable of completing training and certification. Additional requirements include:

• Strong math skills
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1-2 years of experience as a certified equipment operator is ideal but not required
• Knowledge of RF scanners and basic computer skills is preferred

Physical Environment & Conditions

• Exposure to loud noises, variable temperatures, dusty environments, and strong scents
• May work in high places, narrow aisles, or trailers
