Job summary

Cando Rail Service is seeking Equipment Operator/Material Handlers to safely load and unload products and route frames to storage areas at shipping locations. You will work outdoors, in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate in teams to maximize efficiency with a strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, maintaining inventory, locating materials, documenting dispositions, and preparing stock for shipment while following health and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to hold and maintain required certification.
• Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as forklift, genie lift, trackmobile according to safety rules.
• Maintain inventory by labeling and placing frames and supplies in stock and recording locations.
• Locate materials by pulling and verifying frames listed in orders.
• Document frames and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and the location of the units (FIFO).
• Prepare stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, placing, loading, scanning, and capping/securing product on truck and/or railcar.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety Programs; conduct job hazard analysis and report unsafe conditions.
• Contribute to team effort by assisting other team members in all functions of the job.
