Job summary

Chaney Enterprises is seeking an Equipment Operator to ensure materials are properly received, stored and loaded for production. The role includes yard maintenance, safe operation of equipment, and daily inspections. You will assist the Concrete Plant Manager and coordinate with dispatch on truck movements.

The position is full-time, outdoor work in a building supply environment, with physical requirements including lifting and moving materials as needed. Training on site will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience operating front-end loader or heavy equipment preferred.
• Ability to learn and use dispatch system, iPad, and company software applications.
• Verbal communication and basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Stock and load received materials for production and deliveries.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely; perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Keep yard and plant areas clean and organized, follow environmental regulations.
• Assist Concrete Plant Manager and dispatch with truck/driver communications.
