Job summary

Empire Netting and Fence seeks an experienced Equipment Operator to run dump trucks, skid loaders, and mini excavators. You will weld, fabricate, and repair as needed while reading blueprints and maintaining project progress.

The role emphasizes leadership, problem solving, and keeping sites safe and efficient. CDL required, OSHA 10 preferred, with strong teamwork and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy construction equipment including trucks, loaders and excavators.
• Welding skills and ability to perform basic fabrication and repairs.
• Ability to read blueprints, layouts, and grade stakes.
• Valid CDL and reliable transportation are required.
• OSHA 10 preferred or willingness to obtain OSHA 30.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks, skid loaders, mini excavators and related equipment.
• Perform welding, basic fabrication, and equipment repairs as needed.
• Read blueprints and interpret grade stakes and job specifications.
• Keep projects on schedule and ensure site safety and organization.
• Lead, coach and develop less experienced crew members.
