Equipment Operator - Jarraff / Sky Trim Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator specializing in Jarraff and Sky Trim operations. This full-time, mid-senior level position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic utility vegetation management environment.

Responsibilities

1. Operate Jarraff, Sky Trim, skid-steers, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
2. Trim and remove trees using climbing techniques or aerial lifts under supervision.
3. Load/unload trucks with logs, brush, and debris; feed brush into chippers.
4. Maintain and use small power tools and spray stumps and brush as needed.
5. Report equipment repairs and ensure safety protocols are followed on-site.

Minimum Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience operating Jarraff/Sky Trim, skid-steers, and two-handed equipment.
• Ability to perform physical labor, lifting at least 50 lbs.
• Willingness to obtain necessary certifications (e.g., tree species ID, licenses).
• Valid Driver's License, DOT Medical Card, and ability to pass drug and skills tests.
